Kathryn Brunhaver (Cello)
Kathryn is from Seattle and currently a DMA Candidate at University of Oregon, studying cello performance with Stephen Pologe. She currently performs with the Eugene Symphony. Ms. Brunhaver has collaborated with Laura Wayte frequently on new music and looks forward to this new project.
Kevin Hendrix (Cello)
Originally from Portland, is currently finishing a BM in Cello Performance at the University of Oregon. During his time in Eugene he has regularly performed as Principal Cello with the University of Oregon Symphony as well as Section Cello in Orchestra Next and the Rogue Valley Symphony. He has also performed at the Oregon Music Festival in Portland and the Green Mountain Chamber Music Festival in Burlington, VT. Kevin particularly enjoys any chance to play new music and is excited to start performing in The Woman of Salt.
Natalie Fortin (Piano)
Nathalie Fortin was born in Montreal, Canada, where she studied piano at the Montreal Conservatory. She later studied collaborative arts at the Eastman School of Music and University of Southern California. In the Pacific Northwest where she lives since 2001, she is active as a collaborative pianist at the University of Oregon School of Music and Dance, the Cascades Classical Music Foundation, the Eugene Gleemen, and Cascadia Concert Opera. She is currently a member of the Columbia Piano Trio and performs regularly with various local artists and musical organizations.
Crystal Chu (Percussion)
Daniel Yim (Bassoon)
Daniel is in his third year at the University of Oregon, studying with Dr. Steve Vacchi. He also studied at McGill University with Stéphane Lévesque. He has performed with the Eugene Symphony, OrchestraNext, Portland Youth Philharmonic, and Brevard Music Center Orchestra. Daniel plays on a 9000 series Heckel bassoon. In his free time, he enjoys hiking in the Central Oregon Cascades, bicycling, and listening to podcasts.
